The event furthered the networking process that began last year and strengthened national cooperation.

On May 30, the Higher Education Developers Forum was held again, organized for the second time this year by Corvinus University of Budapest, Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, and Budapest University of Economics. The aim of the event remained unchanged: to provide a common space for those involved in supporting learning and teaching, educational development, methodological innovation, and the operation of digital educational tools in higher education institutions.

The Forum's program was extremely diverse and practical, reflecting the current challenges facing higher education. Participants came from many parts of the country, demonstrating that the networking that began last year has continued to grow stronger, with more and more institutions and professionals embracing the cause of cooperation.

In the opening session, Kata Dósa (Corvinus), Ida Dringó-Horváth (KRE), and Adrienn Papp-Danka (BGE) presented the results of their study on how conference-style events have changed in recent years. The study focused on the knowledge-sharing events of the American higher education development network POD (Professional and Organizational Development). The aim of the presentation was to provide an overview of international knowledge-sharing trends and to highlight that the Forum's program also focused on these new formats based on connection and collaborative thinking.

The day began with a workshop for center managers and "Take and Go" workshops. Among other things, these workshops discussed further steps in the development of the Hungarian network, the integration of artificial intelligence into Moodle LMS, and the PEEP teaching methodology workshop introduced at Neumann János University. In the afternoon, during the "We're All in the Same Boat" small group discussions, educational developers, LMS support staff, and administrative staff worked together to find answers and solutions to the challenges arising in their areas.

The afternoon workshops included, for example, a session aimed at supporting international students in their studies, but the Forum also placed emphasis on promoting mental well-being. The latter included a leadership self-awareness workshop and discussions on preventing burnout and coping with challenges.

The professional discussions, networking opportunities and practice-oriented approach of the Forum repeatedly demonstrated that there is a growing need for cooperation and joint thinking in the development of higher education in Hungary. The event provided participants not only with professional inspiration, but also with a genuine community experience.
