MISSION STATEMENT

The Forum serves as a national professional community that brings together allprofessionalscommitted to improving the quality of learning and teaching in higher education. Our mission is to create an open, interactive, interdisciplinary professional space for higher education experts working in the fields of educational methodology, higher education development, and educational technology, which promotes:​

• experience-based knowledge sharing,​​
• applied research,​​
• constructive dialogue, and
• collaborative thinking and creation based on cooperation.​

Its goal is to provide participants with opportunities for professional development and to support the advancement of the culture of higher education methodology in Hungary.

Through structured discussions and horizontal, trust-based interactions at our events, we support community learning processes that contribute to the data- and experience-driven renewal of higher education.​

It is of paramount importance that, over time, the Forum assume a national advocacy role capable of formulating professional recommendations, providing guidance for the development of organizational culture, and facilitating communication between leaders and educators.

VISION

n the long term, the Forum for Higher Education Developers aims to become a leading professional community that actively shapes the direction of higher education development by creating a nationwide knowledge base capable of responding to the challenges facing higher education and offering innovative solutions for the advancement of teaching and learning.

​Its goal is to develop professional recommendations to promote institutional-level changes. It aims to serve as a platform that provides opportunities to share educational development practices based on research and reflection, and fosters collaboration among educators, researchers, developers, and leaders.

As a result, it will be able to advocate for educational development at the national level and support government and institutional recognition and funding for the professional development of educators (both as teachers and researchers).
